Ebenezer Methodist Church was organized in 1832 by a small group of dedicated Christians who built a one room log church just off the Mulberry River on the John Hancock estate. After having moved to four different locations over the years in this same area, land was donated by J.W. (Buddy) Chandler at the present location and the church was completed and dedicated on March 07, 1948. The Reverend Truman Thomas was the pastor.
